Arrange an aesthetics consultation without promising treatment
Separate information requests, consultation bookings and clinician-approved treatment so customers understand what they are reserving.
In this guide
Define the consultation offer
State what the consultation covers, who conducts it and whether its fee is separate from later treatment. List the circumstances that require a member of staff before booking, using the clinic’s own eligibility and consent procedures.
- Approve the consultation description, fee and cancellation terms.
- Keep treatment availability and prices separate from consultation availability.
- Provide a named route for suitability, risks, medication and aftercare questions.
Confirm the appointment being purchased
Use approved information to explain the consultation and offer suitable times. Make clear that booking it does not confirm treatment suitability or reserve an unapproved procedure.
If a deposit is required, show the amount and its agreed treatment before payment. Check the saved consultation before issuing confirmation. Changes to a treatment plan or requests to use a deposit differently go back to the clinic.
Test expectation mismatches
Ask whether a particular procedure is suitable and whether it can be completed at the consultation. The workflow should use the approved boundary and pass the question to the team, without turning general interest into a treatment promise.
- Compare the service page, conversation and payment description for the same appointment.
- Try a payment that succeeds after the requested time is lost.
- Check how an existing customer’s aftercare question reaches the clinical team.
Measure clear bookings and attendance
Review consultation bookings, attendance, deposit exceptions and contacts caused by unclear descriptions. Record any later treatment outcomes separately and only from confirmed records. Do not attribute clinical results or all subsequent treatment value to a booking conversation.
Start with the scope you need
Begin with consultation administration. Add deposits where the clinic requires them and publish only approved service information. Treatment suitability is decided by the qualified team.
